Valley Woodworkers of West Virginia was formed in February 1991. Members exchange woodworking ideas, tips, techniques, and sources on such topics as project design, planning, tool use, finishing, refinishing and joinery.
Membership is open to all persons with an interest in woodworking regardless of skill level. Beginners, amateurs and professionals are all welcome.
The Clubhouse features a large shop with numerous tools available for use by members. The club also maintains a library with many books, magazines and project plans.
Every year members of the club build hundreds of toys for the area’s underprivileged families.
Each year the club offers club projects for members to learn and practice new skills. Past projects include bandsaw boxes, work benches, tables, chests and jewelry boxes.
